Work Setup: Remote (Philippines-based)

Experience Level: Senior (5+ years)

Shift: Night Shift or Night Shift-Flexible (Aligned to US Business Hours)

As an IT Vendor & Procurement Manager, you will:

Assess, compare, and benchmark IT vendors based on cost, performance, service levels, and risk to identify consolidation, renegotiation, and cost-saving opportunities.
Manage end-to-end vendor relationships across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and managed service providers—from onboarding through renewals and offboarding.
Lead sourcing activities including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs while conducting structured vendor evaluations and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service level agreements (SLAs), contract renewals, and software licensing models including per-seat, consumption-based, enterprise agreements, and true-ups.
Oversee the complete contract lifecycle by coordinating with Legal and Information Security teams, tracking renewal schedules, and preventing unwanted auto-renewals and vendor lock-in.
Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs, facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and drive corrective actions when needed.
Manage SaaS and cloud spending by identifying shadow IT, eliminating redundant tools, and reporting savings and spend-under-management metrics.
Collaborate with IT, Information Security, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure procurement decisions align with security, compliance, and budget requirements.

Qualifications

Must Have

Availability to work night shift or night shift-flexible hours aligned with US business hours.
At least 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management with a strong focus on IT or technology categories.
Proven experience evaluating vendors and delivering measurable cost savings or improved commercial terms.
Hands-on experience negotiating IT contracts, SaaS/software licensing agreements, and renewals with enterprise vendors.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, including:
Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
Renewal management
Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong written and verbal English communication for client-facing engagements.

Strong Advantage

Experience using procurement and spend management platforms such as:
SAP Ariba
Coupa
Vendr
Tropic
Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) and license optimization tools such as:
Flexera
Snow
Zylo
ServiceNow SAM
Familiarity with vendor risk management and security/privacy reviews involving SOC 2, ISO 27001, and DPAs in partnership with Information Security teams.
Experience managing cloud spend across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including reserved instances, savings plans, and marketplace purchases.
Experience supporting multiple concurrent clients within shared services, consulting, or RPO environments.

Nice to Have

Procurement certifications such as:
CIPS
CPSM
ITIL Foundation
Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Microsoft Excel for spend analytics and vendor scorecards.
