Remote IT & Workflow Support Specialist
Were hiring someone to support and improve the systems behind a remote media production team.This role combines IT support, system organization, and workflow management. Youll be helping ensure files, tools, and processes run smoothly across a distributed team.
What this role involves
Youll be handling a mix of technical and operational tasks.That includes managing media files, fixing workflow issues, maintaining project templates, and supporting the systems the team relies on daily.You should be comfortable working independently and figuring things out without constant direction.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage large media files (transfers, archiving, cleanup)
- Monitor storage and keep systems optimized
- Troubleshoot workflow or system issues
- Maintain and improve project templates and automations
- Support the team with issues in the project management platform
- Ensure tasks and workflows are functioning correctly
- Assist with remote system setup and support
- Test and help implement new tools and processes
- Keep systems and processes documented
What Were Looking For
- Experience with project management tools (Teamwork preferred, or similar platforms)
- Strong organizational and systems thinking
- Comfortable working with file management and storage systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Clear communication and reliability in a remote environment
Nice to have
- Experience supporting remote teams
- Familiarity with media workflows or large file handling
- Experience with automation tools or workflow setup
- Exposure to tools like Frame.io, LucidLink, or similar.
