We are looking for qualified IT Technical Support (Network) candidates to join our Go Beyond Community.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with ITD on the deployment and maintenance of network technologies.
- Monitors and enhances the network performance.
- Tests the exchange of data between computers, servers, modems, and routers.
- Installs, configures, and updates network software, as well as maintains hardware and network devices.
- Performs diagnostic tests and repairs, as well as develops data archiving, backup, and retrieval procedures.
- Test network protocols and ensure stable and secure server traffic.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems for users or user groups.
- Analyze and report computer network security breaches or attempted breaches.
- Provides support related to networking or connectivity issues.
- Test repaired items to ensure proper and reliable operation.
- Recommends necessary upgrades, development, and Improvement of network facilities.
- Prepares weekly accomplishment reports and all other technical reports.
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a network technician or relevant position.
- Good knowledge of LAN/WAN network protocols and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with common software and hardware.
