The Maintenance and Operations Staff is responsible for the inspection, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of facility hardware and equipment. The role focuses on fixing and maintaining physical hardware to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on facility hardware
- Diagnose hardware issues and implement effective repair solutions
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdown
- Install, replace, and adjust hardware components as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs when required
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures
- Prepare maintenance reports and document completed work
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- College graduate or vocational/technical course related to maintenance, electronics, electrical, or mechanical works
- At least 13 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or hardware repair
- Strong knowledge of hardware systems, including basic electrical, mechanical
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair physical equipment and fixtures
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Basic understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, climbing, and performing manual tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours or respond to emergency repairs
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hardware or facilities maintenance
- Basic knowledge of HVAC or generators (an advantage)
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Good communication and teamwork skills
