IT Systems Administrator (Wintel)
We are looking for a Wintel Systems Administrator to join our IT Operations group. As a core member of the Wintel team, you will work alongside dedicated infrastructure professionals to implement, automate, and maintain modern Windows-based environments across on-prem and cloud platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Windows Server expertise with automation and scripting capabilities, and who thrives in a structured, enterprise IT environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Solid Wintel / Windows Server Administration experience
- Advanced PowerShell scripting
- Hands-on automation experience (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Windows-based infrastructure (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025)
- Manage system configurations and patching using SCCM
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
- Support DevOps initiatives through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Administer and support AWS cloud services
- Monitor system performance and manage capacity planning
- Configure and maintain monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus or other time-series databases)
- Design and maintain infrastructure dashboards and alerts
- Support disaster recovery and high availability environments
- Lead medium-complexity infrastructure projects
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Core Infrastructure
- Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025)

- DNS, DHCP, file services
- IIS configuration and management
- Windows clustering & high availability
- Backup & recovery
- Security hardening best practices
Automation & DevOps
- Advanced PowerShell scripting
- Ansible & Terraform
- Git (version control)
Systems Management & Monitoring
- SCCM administration
- Grafana dashboard creation and maintenance
- Prometheus or other time-series database experience
Cloud
- Minimum 1+ year AWS experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on infrastructure experience
- 35 years of progressive experience in IT Operations
- Strong background in Windows server environments and automation-driven infrastructure
