The Role
We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator who sits at the Level II/III boundary — someone who has moved past following instructions and is ready to own outcomes. You will manage infrastructure and cloud environments across a diverse client base, work independently on technical projects, and be the kind of person your teammates can hand a task to and trust it will get done.
What You'll Do
- Administer and support Windows Server environments across multiple client tenants
- Manage cloud identity and productivity platforms including Microsoft 365 and Azure / Entra ID
- Configure and maintain network access and security infrastructure, including Zero Trust concepts such as SSO integration, identity-aware access policies, and secure remote connectivity
- Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments with minimal escalation
- Support client onboardings, migrations, and infrastructure deployments from planning through completion
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation for every environment you touch
- Contribute to security and compliance initiatives across the client base
- Research unfamiliar technologies, platforms, and problems — and come back with workable solutions
- Be someone the team can rely on to carry a task to the finish line
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting and administering Windows Server environments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Experience with Azure Active Directory / Entra ID: user lifecycle, SSO, Conditional Access, and MFA
- Familiarity with network security concepts: VLANs, firewalls, VPN, and Zero Trust access frameworks
- Comfort managing multiple clients or environments simultaneously without losing track of details
- Strong documentation habits — you write it down as part of the job, not as an afterthought
Nice to Have
- Experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust or similar ZTNA platforms
- Exposure to firewall administration (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, or similar)
- MSP or multi-tenant environment background
- Relevant certifications: Microsoft (MS-102, AZ-104), CompTIA, or equivalent
- Experience with RMM or PSA tooling
