We are seeking a dependable IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical assistance to staff across our organization. This role is responsible for resolving IT support tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring end users receive timely and effective technical support. The ideal candidate will have solid technical skills and a customer-service mindset, with a passion for solving problems and helping people get back to work quickly.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support IT projects and initiatives as directed by IT leadership
- Respond to, triage, and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in maintaining high availability and security of systems, data, and networks
- Support technology projects and implementations as assigned by IT leadership
- Follow and help enforce IT policies, security procedures, and compliance requirements
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff and communicate clearly with end users throughout the resolution process
- Maintain working knowledge of commonly used hardware, software, and internal systems
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- 1–2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience
- Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments, common business applications, and basic networking concepts, FreshService, Intune
- Basic understanding of data privacy and security best practices
- Strong communication, patience, and customer service skills
