Job Title: IT Support

Role Description

The IT Support Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance to end users, ensuring smooth operation of company IT systems, and supporting both current and legacy technologies. This role serves as the first point of contact for IT-related concerns and coordinates with vendors to maintain reliable and secure IT services.

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Acts as first point of contact for IT related concerns - acquisitions, upgrades, and support.

• Sets up network in all offices (Manila and Brunei)

• Organizes and creates a robust IT infrastructure

• Creates applications, tools, and services to improve productivity, convenience, and efficiency of tasks and procedures.

• Maintains and act as an Administrator of NovoCrew website, Email and other social media account platform.

• Participates in the planning, installation, and implementation of equipment interfaces and peripheral devices.

• Ensures the security and integrity of all systems and data.

• Recommends policies and procedures for the area.

• Act as a Focal Point on the NovoCrew Maritime Personnel System (NMPS). Ensures that system issues are all coordinated and corrected by the 3rd Party Service Provider (Developer) in the shortest time possible. Updates the data in NovoCrew Maritime Personnel System (NMPS) regularly.

• Ensures that all information/data encoded are correct and all files uploaded are up to date.

• Provide administrative support when needed.

• Participates in tasks, audit activities, close out findings, suggest and implement improvements for Quality and Environmental Management System (ISO 9001 & ISO14001).

• Performs other duties assigned from time to time.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

Education: A graduate of B.S. Information Technology, B.S. Computer Science or related
