Your Role
As a
Level 3 IT Support Engineer / Systems Engineer, you will:
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues across client environments.
- Troubleshoot and support advanced Microsoft 365 and hybrid environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot Azure AD / Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Intune / Endpoint Management.
- Support and maintain virtualized infrastructure using VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Support cloud-first and hybrid client environments and assist with infrastructure improvement projects.
- Work directly with clients to resolve technical issues and provide technical guidance.
- Manage incidents end-to-end, take ownership of complex problems, and drive timely resolution.
- Improve technical documentation, standards, and internal support processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance when required.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working within an MSP or multi-client environment.
- Strong experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory / Azure AD / Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and domain management.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Hands-on experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization technologies.
- Experience supporting cloud-first and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Intune / Endpoint Management.
- Strong client-facing communication and technical documentation skills.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or providing technical escalation support.
- Relevant Microsoft, VMware, networking, or infrastructure certifications.
