The IT Supervisor for End-User Computing Group (EUCG) is responsible for overseeing the delivery, support, and management of all end-user computing services and technologies within an organization. This includes managing desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software, and any other technology used by employees to perform their daily tasks. The role ensures that end users have the tools, support, and resources they need to perform effectively while maintaining security, compliance, and operational efficiency.This position plays a key leadership role in coordinating IT support teams, driving improvements in user experiences, and ensuring that end-user technology is aligned with the organizationu0027s needs and goals.
Main Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in the IT industry and 1 year in leadership role
- Must have come from a Level 2 position or held a Senior Engineer-type role
- Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or A+ are a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of interconnected systems - both front-end and back-end infrastructure and good asset management skills
- Familiarity with ITL practices
- Has some supervisory or leadership experience (not necessarily extensive)
- Can mentor and guide team members effectively
- Experience revolving around IT services (end-to-end support)
- Must be a graduate of a technology-related course
- Experienced in providing IT support - internally within a company or for external clients
- Experience in managed services or BPO setup is a plus
- Background in user support is an advantage
