About The Role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our dynamic team at Multi Development And Construction Corporation (MDCC). As a Senior IT Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our organization's technology infrastructure and database systems. This full-time position is based in our Taguig City, Metro Manila office.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing technical expertise and support for the design, development, and maintenance of our database systems
- Implementing and optimizing database solutions to improve performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements
- Automating database processes and tasks to enhance efficiency
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex database-related issues
- Conducting regular backups, monitoring, and maintenance of database environments
- Documenting and continuously improving database-related processes and procedures
- Sharing knowledge and providing training to junior members of the IT team
- Handle end to end process of Odoo system.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in database development and administration, ideally in the construction or real estate industry.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions, including hands-on experience with ERP system.
- Strong understanding of database concepts, such as indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices
- Familiar with Odoo System.
