About The Job
Ensure timely delivery of initiatives, especially major and breakthrough initiative requested by Stakeholders with quality. Lead building a high performing and capability of data engineering team specifically in Azure data bricks. Ensure production incidents are resolved within SLA.
Acts as SME in providing future direction of unified data platforms in collaboration with architects, data steward, IT security and business stakeholders. Provide technical guidance on Data engineering team.
What You Will Do
- Act as Lead Data engineer for breakthrough initiative and will ensure technical requirements are fulfilled with quality.
- Provide Technical guidance to the Data engineering team.
- Collaborate with Business Analyst and architect for initiative solution design.
- Cooperate with other teams, ensure the end-to-end integrated solution is robust and conform with architecture standards.
- Work with infra team for maintenance, DRC, and platform related patches and upgrade.
- Provide upskilling plans to elevate the capability of data engineering team in Azure and Databricks.
- Work with stakeholders, Head of IT Deliveries, and architects to establish future roadmap of Unified data platform to ensure it caters future business needs, abide with data governance policy, and data privacy act.
- Acts as senior consultant/ SME of Data engineering team.
What You Should Have
- Minimum 10 years experience in Data engineering role.
- 10 years experience in Data technologies (Cloudera-cloud/on prem) or equivalent
- Advance capability with Databricks and Azure
- Familiarity in Data Science task
- Familiarity in Data Governance
- Experience in DWH is a plus
- Knowledgeable in Oracle Golden gate is a plus
- Hands on strong technical knowledge of Databricks, python, ETL and data architecture.
- Hand on capability on Azure cloud.
- can provide detailed solutions and technical training to the team members.
- Knowledge of SQL, messaging (Rabbit MQ, Kafka),
- Knowledge of the CI/CD and proactive monitoring for his team
- Knowledge on API integration (SOAP and REST)
- Ability to write in both technical and user-friendly language.
