Your Role
As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will:
- Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other IT devices.
- Manage and resolve IT service incidents related to personal computers, networks, platforms, and applications through the Service Desk Support Portal.
- Guide users on proper procedures for submitting IT-related queries and recommendations.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues and support requests to the appropriate support teams.
- Oversee IT asset lifecycle management, including registration, tracking, and decommissioning of hardware devices and software licenses.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to user concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, and Entra ID administration.
- Assist with VPN connectivity, Windows support, and Intune basic device and application management.
- Monitor service health, manage users and licenses, and maintain accurate documentation of support activities.
- Stay updated on IT products, policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective support delivery.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in end-user support or service desk operations.
- Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Strong understanding of IT hardware, peripherals, VPN, and Windows support.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Admin Centers.
- Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), MFA settings, sign-in logs, and Intune portal administration.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented in problem solving and issue resolution.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900).
- ITIL Certification.
- Experience with IT asset management and lifecycle processes.
- Knowledge of service desk ticketing systems and incident management workflows.
- Exposure to cloud-based collaboration and endpoint management tools.
