The Senior Application Engineer has an extensive skill and understanding of IT Applications, systems, databases and infrastructure. Works directly with the System Administrators, Database Administrator, and DevOps to support daily system maintenance and development.
What You Will Do
- Maintains applications and supported systems.
- Supports in deploying of application development.
- Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements.
- Ensuring effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications.
- Consulting with the software development team, internal users, and clients to improve application performance.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for how to resolve an issue.
- Documentation creation and knowledge management
What You Should Have
- At least 5 years and above working experience as Application Support
- knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
- Very good knowledge in Scripting Language like python, PowerShell, Ansible etc.
- Advanced in monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, Kibana, ELK, etc.
- Expert in Containerization Tools like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Knowledge in Continuous Delivery Tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant, Jboss, etc.
- Advanced knowledge in Cloud Fundamentals like Azure, AWS
- Advanced understanding in Application Support Concepts and Processes
