IT & Security Manager
We are seeking an experienced IT & Security Manager to lead our technology operations, cybersecurity initiatives, and IT support functions. This role is responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our IT infrastructure while leading a high-performing team that supports a growing remote workforce.

What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT and Security team through coaching, performance management, and professional development
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and establish clear goals and expectations
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Drive process improvements to enhance team efficiency and service delivery
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and infrastructure
- Ensure systems remain scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs
- Manage hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based platforms
- Support a remote workforce by ensuring reliable access to business-critical systems and applications
- Oversee Google Workspace administration, including user provisioning, lifecycle management, permissions, and security controls
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and best practices
- Monitor and strengthen security controls across the organization
- Lead incident response planning, testing, and remediation efforts
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk reviews
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technology and cybersecurity risks
Regulatory Compliance & Governance
- Maintain and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and security frameworks, including HIPAA and GDPR
- Maintain accurate documentation related to security controls, audits, and compliance requirements
- Support internal and external audits as required
Strategic Collaboration
- Partner with leadership to align IT initiatives with business objectives
- Support client onboarding activities and technical requirements
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access management
- Provide strategic recommendations for technology investments, security enhancements, and operational improvements
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in IT, cybersecurity, or information security leadership roles
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace in a mid-sized business environment
- Strong background in IT operations, cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure management
- Experience supporting remote and distributed workforces
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, team leadership, and employee development
- Advanced knowledge of PC hardware, software, networking, cloud technologies, and internet security
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Required Certifications
Candidates should possess one or more of the following certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CompTIA Security+
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- ITIL Certification
- Equivalent industry-recognized certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within healthcare, healthcare support services, or HIPAA-regulated environments
- Knowledge of identity and access management best practices
- Experience with security awareness programs and employee cybersecurity training
- Familiarity with compliance audits, risk assessments, and governance frameworks
