The IT Senior Software Engineer for Reports is responsible for the requirements gathering and design phase to define business requirements and data flow design. The role also involves working on complex system configuration and leading development efforts, and ensuring the delivery of high quality solutions to meet the data analysis and business intelligence needs of the organization.

Other responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and architecture of large-scale reporting systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Implement robust data warehousing solutions to ensure efficient storage, organization, and accessibility of business-critical data, supporting advanced analytics and reporting functionalities.
• Analyze and interpret data to create meaningful reports, dashboards, and visualizations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality.
• Optimize report performance for speed, efficiency, and responsiveness, implement advanced security measures, provide technical leadership, maintain comprehensive documentation, stay updated on emerging reporting technologies, manage reporting projects, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate with clients to understand and meet reporting requirements.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Business Information Technology or similar
• At least five years related work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in developing SAP BW data flows, ETL processes, and new reports on demand
• Ability to analyze errors and bugs in SAP BW
• Knowledge on using reporting and visualization tools preferably SAP BOBJ/Web Intelligence.
• Knowledge in SAP ABAP
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and develop a right-fit solution.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
