About the Role
Education*Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, accounting, project management or a related field
.*Preferred but not required: At least 35 cumulative hours of project management trainings.
*Preferred but not required: CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Work Experience
*Minimum of 5 years experience in leading cross-functional projects. If not cross-functional then ideally IT projects. Preferred but not required: Experience in companies in Retail or/and Food & Beverage industry.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns related to project progress.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards, and making adjustments as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards and align with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and lessons learned, to provide transparency and facilitate knowledge transfer for future projects.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks to project success and develop strategies to mitigate those risks effectively.
- Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and minimizing project costs without compromising quality.
- Standards Documentation: Ensure complete and thorough documentation of project charters, business requirements, issue lists, action plans and test cases.
- Project Milestones: Every milestone goes through a milestone review. Initiate and trigger milestone reviews, complete with checklists for activities and documentation. Lead Go/No-Go meetings and secure alignment with key stakeholders.
- Project Metrics: Establish measurement strategies for project success measures (lead and lag)
- Workforce Engagement: Assist in employee selection and training.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and can gauge which methodology to apply.
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira, MS Project or any equivalent.
