Job Description

A Project Manager plays a pivotal role in an organization, responsible for planning and overseeing projects from conception to completion. They are tasked with coordinating people, processes, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives. Additionally, Project Managers serve as a vital bridge between project teams and senior management, using project management tools to monitor progress and mitigate risks.

Project Planning: Lead the comprehensive planning of projects, from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with objectives and goals.

Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact between the project team and senior management, providing regular updates and reports on project progress.

Risk Management: Identify and proactively mitigate risks that may impact project success, making informed decisions to keep projects on track.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members to ensure everyone is aligned with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

Issue Resolution: Meet with project team members to identify and address issues, fostering a problem-solving approach.

Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards, submitting them for review and approval.

Reporting: Prepare comprehensive status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information for stakeholders.

Communication Plans: Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution, ensuring all parties are informed.

Change Management: Facilitate change requests and communicate impacts on schedule and budget to stakeholders.

Documentation: Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and necessary documents for successful project implementation and turnover to clients.

Client Engagement: Identify and develop new opportunities with clients, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction during project transitions.

Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements to inform future improvements.

Hiring Requirements

Work Experience:

  • At least 8 years end-to-end Project Management experience preferably in a technical background with strong Change Management experience

  • Experience in a Telco environment is a plus

  • Experience with and understanding of project management development and tracking tools

  • Experience managing people and processes in a fast-paced environment

Level of Knowledge:

  • Advanced-Level Knowledge: Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), leading complex projects, and managing project teams. Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions and mentor junior staff.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in any IT-related field from a four-year college or university
