Your new role

As the Tech Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end procurement activities for technology-related spend categories, including software, hardware, cloud services, telecommunications, IT infrastructure, and professional services.
Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing category and sourcing strategies for technology procurement
• Managing the full procurement lifecycle, including RFx processes, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and contract management
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and procurement needs
• Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and process improvement
• Conducting supplier performance reviews and driving strategic vendor management initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance requirements, and regulatory standards
• Monitoring market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities to support business objectives

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, or IT category management
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud services, SaaS agreements, and technology vendor ecosystems
• Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial contracts and managing supplier relationships
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple business functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a commercial mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Professional procurement certifications (e.g. CIPS, CPSM, CSCP) will be advantageous
