Job Description

TheIT Officerplays a key role in managing and optimizing Dolmar Land's IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, data security, and operational efficiency across the organization. This role involves providing technical expertise, supporting end-users, leading small-scale IT projects, and collaborating with other departments to deliver timely and strategic technology solutions. The IT Officer is also responsible for setting up and managing IT infrastructure in remote project sites and satellite offices, ensuring seamless connectivity and secure operations in all locations.

Systems & Network Management

Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and network infrastructure to ensure uptime and performance.

Perform routine maintenance, updates, and backup processes to prevent system failure and data loss.

Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to safeguard organizational data.

Remote Site IT Support & Setup

Set up, configure, and manage IT infrastructure (routers, switches, access points, workstations, and printers) in remote project sites or sales satellite offices.

Ensure stable internet connectivity and secure access to central systems from offsite locations.

Provide remote support and regular on-site visits to maintain uptime and user support.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for hardware, software, and network issues escalated by the Helpdesk or IT Administrator.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system access, printers, email, and other tools used by the organization.

Document solutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.

Project & Implementation Support

Assist in the rollout and documentation of IT projects, including software upgrades, server migrations, and security improvements.

Support the implementation and optimization of business systems such as NOAH, Google Workspace, Freshdesk, AWS, and SAP (if applicable).

Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and prepare reports for system enhancement recommendations.

Data Management & Reporting

Assist in managing data integrity, access controls, and database updates.

Generate regular system performance reports, incident logs, and usage summaries for review by the IT Assistant Manager and Director of Operations.

Collaboration & Training

Coordinate with department representatives to understand IT requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.

Train end-users on new tools and protocols when necessary and support compliance with IT policies, data privacy laws, and internal audit requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science or IT related college degree
  • Should have supervisory experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or Network Management
  • Experience in setting up and managing IT infrastructure in remote or field office locations isstrongly preferred
  • Proficient in Windows/Linux server administration, SQL, Network Configuration, and User Support
  • Skilled in using remote access tools, Endpoint Protection Software, and IT Monitoring Tools
  • Experience with Cloud Systems, VPN Setup, or Hybrid Work Infrastructure is a plus
  • Willing to travel to project sites and regional offices
