• 8+ years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations, specializing in firewall technologies, remote access solutions (e.g., Zscaler), proxy services, web gateways, and VPN solutions
• 8+ years designing enterprise-scale routing and switching environments, MPLS/VPN, WLAN, intrusion prevention, cloud security, firewalls, monitoring tools, network topologies, load balancing, and WAN acceleration/QoS.
• 8+ years of network experience in multinational enterprises with 5,000+ users
• Active certifications: CISSP, CCNP, CCSE, CCIE
• Focus on Cybersecurity and be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting solutions for Abbott's global network and border security infrastructure.
• Position emphasizes security architecture and requires expertise in security infrastructure, Zscaler, firewall technologies, and routing and switching.
• Technical lead for projects involving complex planning and execution across Abbott's border networks, including detailed design development, proposal creation, analysis, and end-to-end project delivery.
• Mastery of network security concepts and strong knowledge of data networking, including switching, routing, directory services, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
