The IT Manager – Transformation, Governance & Cyber Security is responsible for leading 1RE's enterprise-wide digital transformation, project governance, and cybersecurity strategy. The role ensures that solutions architecture, technology projects, governance frameworks, and cyber/OT security initiatives are aligned with business priorities and delivered with measurable value.
This position oversees three functional pillars—Digital Solutions, Technology Projects & Change, and Enterprise Cyber & OT Security—to ensure modernization, secure operations, and organization-wide readiness for future technologies.
This role enables transformation success, secure operations, and strategic alignment by driving solution standardization, governance maturity, cybersecurity uplift, and strong collaboration across IT, OT, business units, and corporate partners.
Responsibilities:
DIGITAL SOLUTIONS MANAGEMENT
- Oversees design, optimization, and modernization of IT solutions and enterprise applications.
- Ensures solutions architecture meets scalability, interoperability, and business needs.
- Drives digitalization initiatives and workflow automation across departments.
- Evaluates new platforms and technologies for innovation and efficiency.
TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS & CHANGE MANAGEMENT
- Oversees project governance and delivery of key transformation projects.
- Ensures project outcomes meet scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Manages change management, communication, training, and rollout readiness.
- Supports enterprise adoption of new systems and technologies.
CYBER SECURITY & OT SECURITY LEADERSHIP
- Leads Cyber/OT security programs, initiatives, and maturity improvements.
- Oversees vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response activities.
- Ensures compliance with cybersecurity policies, regulatory standards, and audits.
- Strengthens OT security posture through segmentation, governance, and best practices.
GOVERNANCE, RISK & COMPLIANCE
- Establishes and maintains IT governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Ensures technology initiatives follow governance, documentation, and quality practices.
- Supports risk assessments, DR/BCP planning, and security audits.
- Coordinates with internal/external auditors for technology-related compliance.
STRATEGIC PLANNING & ALIGNMENT
- Aligns IT transformation goals with MTP and organizational strategy.
- Partners with business units to identify needs, opportunities, and value-adding improvements.
- Supports innovation maturity through modern tools, platforms, and solutions.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & TALENT DEVELOPMENT
- Develops competencies of Digital Solutions, Project/Change, and Cyber/OT Security teams.
- Ensures succession readiness and capability development for critical transformation roles.
- Provides coaching, mentoring, and performance management for all direct reports.
VENDOR & PARTNER MANAGEMENT
- Oversees vendors related to solutions architecture, digitalization, and cybersecurity.
- Evaluates proposals, negotiates contracts, and ensures service-level performance.
Minimum Qualification:
- Must be a graduate of BSECE, BSCoE and BSIT, or any related degree that may be relevant to the job
- 8+ years in IT, with strong background in solutions, cybersecurity, or technology governance
- 3+ years leading IT teams or cross-functional project groups
- Demonstrated success in delivering digital transformation projects
- Experience in cybersecurity governance, incident management, or OT security an advantage
- Strong experience working with enterprise applications, cloud solutions, and IT controls
- Has experience in IT Infrastructure Management, IT Operations, IT Network Management, Financial Management, People Management, and Project Management
- Professional Certifications are an advantage.
