About The Job
IT Loxon Manager requires knowledge in Application Support and DevOps area. Leadership skills that can mentor and guide the team leaders and junior members. The role is also responsible for the effective usage of the applications provided to business teams and end users, assisting with day-to-day operational tasks ensuring that Incidents are effectively resolved, service requests and projects are properly executed and deployed, and coordinate within various departments for all activities. Helps the organization achieve its cost savings and process improvement goals through identified annual initiatives. The leaders will also be the liaison officer for all Telecommunication providers and potential solutions provider on this area.
What you will do
- Manage a team Loxon Specialists, Application Engineers and Quality Analysts
- Provide leadership for a team of engineers responsible for monitoring implementation and deployment
- Manage the team schedule and on-call support
- Oversee the design, installation, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of all Loxon components
- Day-to-day cooperation with various internal departments (development, analysts, testers, vendors other teams)
- Provide technical guidance to subordinates.
- Manage or Lead Cost Savings initiative in alignment with the organizational OKR.
What you need to have
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Previous experience working as an Application Technical Lead, Application/Tech Lead/Manager Engineer, DevOps
- Basic knowledge in Scripting Language like python, PowerShell, etc.
- knowledgeable in Linux or windows fundamentals
- Basic knowledge in using Source Code Management Tools like GIT
- Basic knowledge in Configuration Management Tools like Puppet, CHEF, Ansible, etc.
- Basic knowledge in Continuous Integration Tools like GitLab, TeamCity, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Basic query fundamentals
- Basic knowledge in monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, Kibana, ELK, etc.
- Basic knowledge in Containerization Tools like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Basic knowledge in Continuous Delivery Tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant, Jboss, etc.
- Basic knowledge in Cloud Fundamentals like Azure, AWS
- Knowledgeable in DevOps Key Concepts and Processes
