Job Purpose:
The IT Capability & Talent Development Manager drives organizational capability development across IT. Responsibilities include:
- Leading learning and development programs.
- Building technical, leadership, and functional capabilities.
- Driving employee engagement, communications, and performance management.
- Supporting digital transformation and emerging technology adoption.
- Aligning talent, skills, and culture with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capability Building & Workforce Development
- Develop IT capability strategy (technical, functional, leadership, behavioral).
- Identify skills gaps; create role-based learning paths, certifications, cross-skilling, and upskilling.
- Enable workforce readiness for digital transformation, automation, and AI initiatives.
2. Communications, Change Management & User Adoption
- Lead communication and change management strategies for new IT capabilities.
- Develop adoption frameworks, stakeholder engagement plans, campaigns, and enablement programs.
- Partner with IT leaders to drive awareness and engagement.
- Oversee internal communications, town halls, strategic events, and employee engagement initiatives.
3. Performance Management & Governance
- Consolidate and govern IT performance metrics, dashboards, and workforce insights.
- Monitor effectiveness of capability programs, adoption rates, and engagement metrics.
- Provide leadership with strategic recommendations on talent readiness and continuous improvement.
4. Strategic Capability Initiatives
- Lead enterprise-wide initiatives like knowledge management, leadership development, innovation programs, and transformation projects.
- Ensure alignment of initiatives with business goals and technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with HR on learning and development programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Management, IT, or related field.
- 8–12+ years in L&D, Organizational Development, Talent Management, IT Workforce Development, or related functions.
- Experience managing enterprise learning programs, employee engagement, communications, and performance initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IT roles, digital transformation, tech delivery, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in stakeholder management and leading cross-functional transformation initiatives.
