Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead/Manager to lead and oversee the organization's IT operations, digital initiatives, and technology strategy. This role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, business applications, cybersecurity, digital transformation projects, and a small IT team while ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives
The successful candidate will collaborate with local and global stakeholders to implement technology initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and support business growth through innovative IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the local IT & Digital team, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and global technology standards.
- Oversee the full IT lifecycle, including infrastructure, networks, business systems, application development, maintenance, and user support.
- Partner with business units to identify technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and drive digital transformation.
- Coordinate with regional and global IT teams to ensure alignment on IT initiatives, standards, security, and governance.
- Manage enterprise data strategies, ensuring data integrity, security, compliance, and effective reporting.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Manage the IT budget, vendor relationships, procurement, and technology investments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Monitor IT performance, prepare management reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in strategic IT planning and contribute to technology initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience managing IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, systems development, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to align technology solutions with business objectives.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with global or multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Business-level English communication skills.
- Experience using data and analytics to support business decisions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications or postgraduate qualifications in IT Management, Project Management, or Digital Transformation are an advantage.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of leadership experience managing IT teams within a multinational organization or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the aerospace or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
