Your Role

As an IT Helpdesk Administrator, you will:

  • Perform initial triage of IT incidents and service requests logged through the Helpdesk system.
  • Act as the first point of contact for users, diagnosing and resolving Level 1 and Level 2 technical issues.
  • Manage and maintain Helpdesk tickets, ensuring accurate documentation, categorization, prioritization, and timely resolution in line with SLAs.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Citrix, mobile device management, workstations, printers, and related technologies.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated incidents involving server infrastructure, network connectivity, Oracle Simphony POS systems, and business applications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 Helpdesk, Service Desk, or IT Support role.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
  • Experience using Helpdesk ticketing systems and supporting Citrix environments and mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an offshore support environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills/expertise

  • Experience supporting Oracle Simphony POS systems, including terminal configuration, menu loading, connectivity troubleshooting, and EMC administration.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and hospitality technology environments.
  • Exposure to server administration, network troubleshooting, and advanced application support.
  • Experience participating in after-hours support or on-call rotations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
