Job Title: IT Governance Manager
Location: Makati City (Hybrid, 2 days onsite)
About the Role:
We are partnering with a leading global organization undergoing a significant IT and digital transformation to appoint an IT Governance Manager. This role will play a critical part in driving enterprise-wide governance practices, enhancing visibility, and ensuring alignment across multiple business units.
The role requires a strategic and consultative approach, focusing on governance frameworks, benchmarking, and performance insights rather than traditional policy enforcement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve IT governance frameworks, methodologies, and standards across the organization
- Establish governance structures and operating models to support effective decision-making and accountability
- Conduct regular audits, assessments, and structured reviews across multiple functions and business units
- Evaluate IT performance across areas such as project delivery, cost management, risk, and compliance
- Design and maintain governance dashboards, scorecards, and reporting frameworks to track organizational performance
- Drive benchmarking initiatives across business units to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. PMO, Security, IT Operations) to ensure alignment with governance practices
- Ensure governance policies and standards remain current, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across the IT organization
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, benchmarking, and performance management methodologies
- Proven experience conducting audits, assessments, or structured reviews across multiple functions or business units
- Experience in large, matrixed, or multi-division environments
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement reporting frameworks, dashboards, or performance scorecards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
- A consultative mindset, with the ability to drive change through influence rather than authority
- Experience supporting IT transformation or enterprise-wide initiatives is highly desirable
Reporting Line:
- Reports directly to a senior IT leadership role
- Works closely with global IT and business stakeholders within the group and different entities
