Job Description

Overview

A mid‑to‑senior individual contributor who owns and leads analytical work, produces decision‑ready insights, and may guide junior staff, without being a people manager.

Qualifications

1.Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

2.Relevant experience in ERP systems analysis, implementation, application support, or managed services environments.

3.Proven experience working in cross‑functional IT teams, including direct collaboration with IT Managers and Business Analysts.

4.Hands‑on experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or similar systems.

5.Strong understanding of ERP end‑to‑end business processes (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Order‑to‑Cash, HR).

6.Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

7.Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured functional analysis artifacts.

8.Working knowledge of:

a.ERP configuration concepts and system workflows

b.Data analysis and reporting (e.g., ERP reports, dashboards, SQL fundamentals)

c.SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile)

9.Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

10.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

ERP Analysis & Functional Support

1.Perform detailed analysis of ERP business processes and system functionality to support ongoing operations, enhancements, and projects.

2.Analyze and document current‑state and future‑state processes, system behaviors, and data flows within the ERP environment.

3.Translate validated business requirements into clear functional specifications and analysis documentation.

4.Support ERP configuration, setup, and functional design activities in coordination with technical teams.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

1.Work closely with the IT Manager to support delivery planning, prioritization, risk identification, and resolution of ERP‑related issues.

2.Partner with IT Business Analysts to validate requirements, review analysis outputs, and ensure consistency and completeness of documentation.

3.Act as a key liaison between business users, analysts, developers, vendors, and IT operations teams.

4.Participate in design reviews, walkthroughs, and solution discussions to ensure ERP solutions meet business objectives.

Testing, Data & Quality Assurance

1.Support system testing activities, including functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

2.Perform data validation, reconciliation, and impact analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity within ERP modules.

3.Review and validate test scenarios, test results, and defect analysis, ensuring issues are properly documented and addressed.

Documentation & Governance

1.Prepare and maintain ERP documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, and operational guides.

2.Ensure analysis and system documentation meet enterprise standards and are audit‑ready.

3.Support change management, incident, and problem management processes by providing analysis, root‑cause insights, and impact assessments.

Senior-Level Contribution

1.Own assigned ERP analysis deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision.

2.Identify process gaps, system risks, or data issues and proactively recommend solutions.

3.Provide guidance and informal mentoring to junior analysts or associates on ERP analysis practices and documentation standards.

4.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the MSS / ERP support model.
