Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Administrator specializing in Microsoft Intune to manage, configure, and secure the organization's endpoint devices. The Endpoint Administrator will oversee the deployment and management of endpoints (laptops, desktops, mobile devices) ensuring they are optimized, secure, and compliant with organizational policies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Intune Management: Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for device management, application deployment, security enforcement, and policy management for both corporate and BYOD environments.
- Endpoint Management: Oversee the lifecycle of endpoint devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android), including provisioning, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Security Enforcement: Implement and monitor security policies, including encryption, antivirus, and firewall settings, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM): Configure and maintain mobile device management, ensuring secure access to corporate resources from mobile devices.
- Application Deployment: Plan, test, and deploy applications, OS updates, and patches through Intune and other deployment tools.
- Device Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance policies, providing reports on device compliance status, and remediate non-compliant devices.
- Automation: Develop scripts to automate common administrative tasks using PowerShell or other automation tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to ensure smooth integration of new services, applications, and devices into the endpoint management ecosystem.
- User Support: Provide Tier 2/3 support for endpoint-related incidents, requests, and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all endpoint configurations, policies, and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Intune: 1+ years managing devices using Intune for mobile device and application management (MDM/MAM).
- Endpoint Management: Strong experience with managing Windows, iOS, and Android devices in an enterprise environment.
- PowerShell Scripting: Proven ability to create and use PowerShell scripts for device management and automation.
- Security Best Practices: Familiarity with implementing security policies like BitLocker encryption, antivirus management, and remote wipe.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and integration of Intune with other cloud services.
- Compliance and Monitoring: Knowledge of compliance policy management, reporting, and remediation techniques.
