As a Disaster Recovery Senior Manager within Group Cloud Operations, you will play a crucial role leading a team responsible in managing disaster recovery activities for nominated AIA business units by governing and ensuring all requirements for business continuity are met according to AIA group standards and they comply with regulatory requirements.
Being accountable of team performance, you will ensure team will successfully deliver appropriate recoverability planning and testing along with Disaster Recovery best practices to mitigate the overall risk to AIA critical business operations.

- Work Schedule: 24/7 Shifting schedule
- Work Set-up: Currently in a 80% RTO work setting when Dayshift, and Work at Home when working during mid and night shift.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Group Business Continuity, Business Unit and internal delivery teams on service reporting activities.
- Lead the development and execution of Group Cloud Infrastructure Disaster Recovery program and ensure that appropriate framework is in place to restore critical business processes based on expectations defined by the business in the event of disaster.
- Ensure appropriate recoverability planning and testing is in place along with Disaster Recovery best practices to mitigate the overall risk to critical business operations.
- Lead the Disaster Recovery team on the strategy, planning, communication, implementation and execution of policies and procedures to mitigate the enterprise risk.
- Identify industry trends, processes, orchestration tools and methodologies pertaining to Disaster Recovery and establish a roadmap that drives innovation across AIA.
- Lead and collaborate with various departments and Group Business Continuity to establish Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity recoverability plans and procedures while ensuring they are successfully tested through automated recovery orchestration.
- Ensure Disaster Recovery projects and initiatives are delivered on time and meeting key KPIs through effectively.
- Close Audit Observation issue; ensure compliance with Group Business Continuity framework.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- 7+ years working experience providing IT Disaster Recovery (DR) service from designated regional IT hub for organization with global presence with at least 2 years in people management role.
- Solid track record of managing performance and talent development of direct reports
- Well-versed with ITIL IT Service Continuity Management or equivalent concept but not limited to the following: eg. DR Framework, DR Activation, DR Maintenance, DR Reinstatement etc
- Solid experience in digitalization and automation of DR Processes / Workflow
- Proven track record in project management
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing processes.
- Proven track record of high performance in executing Live DR Test scenarios
- Knowledge and experience in digitalization and automation of DR Process will be an advantage.
- Certification in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and related disciplines preferred.
