Job Description

The IT Director is responsible for leading and overseeing technical operations to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient IT services for both clients and internal teams. The role drives infrastructure stability, service excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain business continuity during after-hours coverage.

Job Description:

Direct IT policies, SOPs, standards, and SLAs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Monitor operations metrics and efficiency; report performance and risk factors to senior leadership.

Develop technical team capability, ensuring Tier 12 proficiency and readiness.

Drive collaboration with the Performance and Execution teams to ensure operational excellence.

Support scalability, uptime, and service reliability for IT infrastructure.

Oversee after-hours IT service delivery for clients and internal teams.

Coordinate incident response, escalation management, and ticket resolution.

Act as the escalation point for advanced desktop, server, and network issues.

Analyze technical incidents and recommend process or system improvements.

Lead after-hours monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting for key technologies:

o Windows Server and Microsoft 365 (AD, Exchange, SharePoint)

o Networking (Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, DNS, routing, switching)

o Virtualization (VMware, Azure)

o Cloud Storage and Backup (Veeam, AWS)

Hire, coach, mentor, and develop technical professionals to build a high-performing after-hours team.

Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and address performance issues promptly.

Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and accountability across technical teams.

Foster a continuous improvement culture focused on reliability, responsiveness, and innovation.

Qualifications:

Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical operations management.

Minimum of four (4) years in a leadership capacity overseeing cross-functional IT teams.

Experience using IT tools and technologies such as Windows Server, Azure, VMware, Microsoft 365, and networking systems.

Demonstrates strong leadership background in IT infrastructure and managed services.

Experience managing system uptime, incident response, and after-hours technical support.

Deep understanding of network, cloud, and server administration.

Demonstrates problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills under time-sensitive conditions.

Operate in a high-demand, 24/7 support environment.

Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Can work on-site at 29th Floor Discovery Centre Building, ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center Pasig City

Can work on shifting schedule: 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
