Job Description

Role Purpose

The Delivery Manager leads end-to-end technical execution, dependency management, and agile delivery for digital banking initiatives. Combining project management expertise with Scrum Master responsibilities, this role ensures on-time, compliant software delivery across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Agile & Scrum Leadership: Act as Scrum Master; lead stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement to remove delivery blockers.
Project & Dependency Planning: Build timelines, manage resource estimates, and coordinate cross-functional dependencies across internal IT teams (ITG, ISD) and external partners.
Tracking & Governance: Maintain project Book of Work, track milestones (RAG status), and ensure full compliance with bank IT governance and security standards.
Risk & Escalation Management: Proactively identify technical delivery risks, resolve operational bottlenecks, and facilitate project escalations.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience as an IT Project/Delivery Manager leading software teams through full SDLC.
Domain: Background in banking, fintech, financial services, or insurance (BFSI) preferred.
Methodologies: Hands-on mastery of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall frameworks.
