IT & Data Manager
A newly created opportunity for an experienced IT & Data Manager is now available with a leading national Financial Planning/Wealth Management business.
This role has been newly created to deliver further IT infrastructure across the company and will see you continue and develop your IT skills within an expanding exciting brand.
IT
- Manage relationship with 3rd party IT systems, ensuring regular service meetings are held to monitor adherence to SLAs, commerciality of terms and contract maintenance.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new system features/functions
- Design, configure and implement tools for partner firms to assist with wider business processes that link to preferred systems
- Responsible for all areas of back-office systems, including and not limited to, maintenance and configuration
Operations
- MI production, including detailed data analysis, data manipulation - making use of SQL, Python or other coding to present data in a meaningful way.
- Provide management information on request, weekly, with an update on agreed projects
Management
- Team management of Operations Specialist Support
Competencies And Behaviours Required
Communication - Ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally
Team Work - Ability to work cross functionally and closely with the Partner Services Manager.
Problem Solving - High level of problem solving and troubleshooting skills. The ability to analyse problems and offer solutions objectively
Technology - Microsoft applications, laptop, phone, external providers including platforms
Learning - Ability to identify learning gaps in self and action solutions to fill those gaps
Experience - Advanced Microsoft excel - SQL, pivot, complex formula (essential) Zoho (preferred but not essential)
This position will be home based indefinitely with very occasional travel as and when the business requires to central offcies.
