Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Data Analyst drives advanced analytics and strategic insights to support the transformation of the CCO process. This role focuses on identifying root causes, enabling data-driven decisions, and measuring the impact of process improvements while guiding reporting strategy and analytics capability across the team.

Responsibilities:  

KRA 1: Provide Reporting and Strategic Contribution

Focus: Strategic insights and decision support

  • Define reporting strategy and key metrics
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities proactively
  • Support leadership decisions with data-backed narratives

KRA 2 : Deliver Excellent Data Governance and Quality Management

Focus: Data structure and governance leadership

  • Define data standards and governance framework
  • Ensure consistency across all reporting layers
  • Improve data models and architecture
  • Identify systemic data issues and propose solutions

KRA 3 : Contribute to Process Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Focus: Drive and shape improvements

  • Identify root causes and systemic inefficiencies
  • Partner with Process Manager to design solutions
  • Build business cases (FTE savings, efficiency gains)
  • Validate and quantify transformation impact

KRA 4: Strengthen Stakeholder Management and Provide Escalation Support

Focus: Proactive engagement and influence

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities
  • Present insights and recommendations confidently
  • Support high-level escalations with analysis and context
  • Influence decision-making through data

KRA 5 : Increase Engagement by Contributing to Self and Team Development and Effectiveness

Focus: Team capability building and leadershipMentor and guide junior analysts

  • Establish best practices in analytics and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement in team capability
  • Promote data-driven culture

Education: 

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or any related field. 

Requirements:  

  • Proven experience with reporting, dashboards and visualization tools, preferably Power BI and Tableau. (Data modeling, DAX, Dashboard optimization)
  • Knowledge of SQL (data extraction, transformation)
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (automation, complex analysis) and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge in RPA / process automation tools is a plus
  • Experience in process analysis and performance optimization
  • Proven experience in supporting or driving process improvements
  • Working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Handling large and complex datasets
  • Proven proficiency in ERP platforms (Oracle and/or SAP).
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to identify trends and basic insights
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, connect data to business impact.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with capability to explain data insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to deliver results under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. 
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
