Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Organize and facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Pla nning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach Scrum team members and stakeholders on Agile principles, values, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine, prioritize, and maintain a clear and actionable backlog.
  • Ensure Scrum artifacts such as burndown charts, sprint backlogs, and dashboards are accurately maintained and accessible.
  • Drive consistent use of Jira to track deliverables, progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support continuous improvement through team feedback, metrics, and retrospective outcomes.
  • Support the delivery of Data Governance (DG) initiatives, including MVP planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Coordinate product pilot activities and iterative releases in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and remove issues, risks, and roadblocks to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead business requirements gathering by translating data governance needs into clear business and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with data and technology teams (e.g., EDL, Platforms, Architecture) to support successful implementation of requirements.
  • Support the adoption and enforcement of data governance policies, standards, and controls across business and technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant business experience, including progressive business analysis supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) with hands-on experience working in cross-functional teams to refine backlogs, define user stories, and support iterative delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience creating documentation and presenting to senior management.
  • Proven ability to lead effective collaboration sessions with diverse, global stakeholder groups, engaging both technical and non-technical audiences in a remote Agile delivery environment.
  • Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Being self-directed and confident to work independently, a natural connector with people, able to take initiatives to identify and engage stakeholders within a large organization.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and business function, experience with MS 365 applications, PowerBI, SharePoint, JIRA & Confluence.
