Job Summary
The IT Asset Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's IT assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate inventory, effective asset utilization, and proper governance. The role also manages Bill of Materials (BOM) for technology projects and supports site rollouts, upgrades, and operational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company's IT Asset Management program.
- Oversee inventory of laptops, desktops, POS systems, servers, network devices, and peripherals.
- Develop and maintain BOMs for new site deployments and IT projects.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Manage procurement planning and asset allocation.
- Monitor asset lifecycle, warranties, repairs, and disposals.
- Develop asset management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, and Operations.
- Prepare inventory and asset utilization reports.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Asset Management or IT Inventory.
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience with ERP or IT Asset Management systems.
- Strong leadership and analytical skills.
