Job Summary
The ISO Program Consultant is responsible for the developing, implementation and maintenance of an Integrated Management System based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 31000, ISO 45001 and preferably ISO 50001 standards and Quality Improvement requirements.
Further the ISO Program Consultant is responsible for supporting the Delivery Head in managing ISO requirements for the organization. He/She shall also be requested to work on internal assigned projects as and when requested. Moreover, the ISO Program Senior Associate shall act as the face of the organization to local and regional customers as needed; perform assessments and documentation requirements, planning trainings and workshops, planning sessions; create, nurture, manage and maintain strong relationship with internal stakeholders; articulate and ensure clearly understands value generated through our engagement within the ecosystem; and, work with the different teams internally and externally to help them achieve planned objectives.
ESO System Management
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organization's ISO management system(s) in line with applicable standards.
- Ensure organizational processes are mapped, defined, and documented in accordance with ISO requirements.
- Monitor system effectiveness and ensure alignment with company objectives, customer requirements, and legal obligations.
- Integrate multiple ISO systems into a unified management system when applicable.
Audit and Compliance
- Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with a defined schedule and audit checklist.
- Evaluate audit findings and collaborate with process owners to define corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor and verify the closure of non-conformities and opportunities for improvement.
- Support external audits conducted by certification bodies and regulatory agencies.
Documentation Control
- Maintain the document control system, ensuring procedures, policies, and forms are current and accessible.
- Review and update ISO-related documentation in coordination with process owners and stakeholders.
- Ensure document and record retention practices meet ISO standards and organizational needs.
- Control the distribution and versioning of ISO-related documents to prevent outdated use.
Training and Awareness
- Identify training needs and develop ISO-related training materials for employees at all levels.
- Conduct or coordinate internal training sessions on ISO policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Foster awareness and understanding of the ISO management system across the organization.
- Maintain records of all training activities and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Management Review & Reporting
- Prepare inputs (KPIs, audit results, customer feedback, non-conformities) for periodic management review meetings.
- Schedule and facilitate ISO management reviews, documenting discussions and decisions.
- Track action items from management reviews and ensure timely implementation and follow-up.
- Provide management with reports on ISO system performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Risk Management and Improvement
- Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to the management system and business processes.
- Work with teams to conduct root cause analyses for incidents, complaints, or audit findings.
Liaison and Communication
- Serve as the key contact point for external auditors, consultants, and certification bodies.
- Coordinate communication of ISO policies and changes with internal departments.
- Collaborate with functional heads to ensure consistent system implementation across all departments.
- Provide technical guidance and support to staff involved in ISO-related activities.
Certification and Surveillance Readiness
- Maintain readiness for ISO certification and surveillance audits at all times.
- Coordinate documentation reviews, facility inspections, and interviews during audit preparation.
- Ensure follow-up and implementation of findings or recommendations from external audits.
- Maintain a roadmap of audit cycles, recertification dates, and system improvement milestones.
Expectations
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Science
- At least 2+ years of experience in organizing, maintaining and implementing an ISO Integrated Management System.
- Knowledge and experience working in the areas of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 31000, ISO 45001 standards and preferably ISO 50001.
- Preferably with advanced training on Quality Management, Environmental Management, Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, Occupational Health and Safety Management, Energy Management, and Quality Management Tools.
- Good understanding on Documentation and Records Management and Lifecycle.
- Able to multi-task, and shift priorities quickly and efficiently in a very dynamic environment and focus on highest value outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to network with senior decision makers, optimize social opportunities and close the deal.
- Strong analytical thinking ability.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
