The Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in revenue-based invoicing, accounts receivable, billing operations, or finance, including supervisory/team leadership experience
- Proven end-to-end revenue billing experience, covering invoice preparation, validation, issuance, reconciliation, collections support, and issue resolution
- Hands-on experience with customer/revenue-related invoices; purchasing, vendor, or accounts payable invoicing alone is not sufficient
- Proven supervisory or team leadership experience, including mentoring and supporting billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or finance teams
- Strong knowledge of billing cycles, revenue transactions, invoice accuracy, reconciliations, and billing controls
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, reconciliation, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Oracle or other ERP/accounting systems
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous process improvement
- CPA, CMA, or another finance-related certification is preferred but not required
Your Daily Tasks
Invoicing Data and Operational Excellence
- Process, validate, and maintain business and invoicing data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, SLA compliance, and adherence to client requirements
- Resolve data and operational discrepancies, conduct quality checks, and recommend improvements that strengthen accuracy and process efficiency
Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze operational and invoicing data, trends, and discrepancies to support business decisions, performance improvement, and compliance
- Prepare and validate reports and dashboards, translating findings into actionable insights that strengthen operational performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve inquiries and escalations and maintain consistent, effective business operations
- Provide timely updates and coordinate stakeholder activities to support successful execution of operational initiatives
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support client requirements, operational objectives, and high-quality service delivery
Privacy and Confidentiality
- Protect sensitive business and financial information while ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable data protection regulations
