Job Purpose
Lead market education initiatives within a designated region to enhance brand awareness, attract and engage customers, foster development, and ultimately boost online revenues.
Major Responsibilities
• Boosting Brand Awareness and Raise Financial Literacy
Executes bespoke market education initiatives geared to enhance financial literacy across diverse sectors (academic institutions, government agencies, Metrobank group partners, and the general public). This includes guiding the team in the strategic utilization of seminars, workshops, and various media channels (podcasts, radio, TV, short-form videos, articles, and social media) for maximum reach and engagement.
o Yearly Calendar: Develop an annual calendar that promotes FirstMetroSec's product offerings – such as Stocks, Fixed Income Securities, FundsMart – along with research reports and initiatives from other departments addressing development needs.
o Ensure Promotion of Events: Close collaboration with other departments to ensure effective promotion of events on our social media pages, websites, FirstMetroSec Go app and e-newsletters and to create engaging collaterals.
o Strengthening network within the Metrobank Group: Interact, cooperate, and collaborate with partners within Metrobank.
• Enhance Customer Experience
Deliver exceptional market education experience to potential and/or existing clients, ensuring effective conversion of brand awareness and financial literacy initiatives into business growth:
- Customer Acquisition: Oversee the implementation of targeted customer acquisition strategies and monitor growth in the number of accounts opened. Collaborate closely with the Business Technology Division, Customer Management Department and Digital Channels and Marketing Department to ensure strategies are data-driven, leads are efficiently qualified, pursued and converted.
- Online Revenues and Assets under Administration: Implements educational programs designed to help clients make informed investment decisions which consequently generates more online revenues and increase assets under administration for expanded services.
Delight Key Customers. Nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their evolving needs, and ensuring the team provides tailored solutions and proactive support that drives satisfaction and loyalty.
•Ensure compliance with all government regulations and internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Equities Securities Salesman, Certified Investment Solicitor, Certified Fixed-Income Salesman, Certified UITF Sales Personnel, and Certified Trust Professional) would be a strong advantage.
• Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, marketing, or client relationship management within the financial services industry with passion and experience in delivering financial literacy or investment-related seminars and presentations to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape of the financial services industry.
• Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and investment solutions (including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and UITFs).
