Schedule: Night Shift (US Pacific Time)

Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Investor Reporting Analyst to support mortgage servicing and investor reporting activities for our US-based client.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of investor reporting and accounting activities at both the loan and pool levels. You will perform reconciliations, investigate cash and reporting exceptions, analyze financial data, identify root causes of discrepancies, and support the timely resolution and remediation of issues.

The ideal candidate has experience in investor reporting, mortgage servicing, mortgage accounting, or a related financial operations environment, along with strong Excel and analytical skills. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple deadlines, communicate findings clearly, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform the 7 R's (Reporting, Remitting, Reconciliation, Research, Root Cause Identification, Resolution, and Remediation) at the loan and pool levels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with minimal supervision.

• Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to track investor reporting and test for cash exceptions. Mitigate financial risks, including compensatory, audit risks, and financial risks for mortgage servicing rights (MSR) owners.

• Participate in client meetings, propose actionable solutions, and offer strategic action plans with minimal assistance. Maintain detailed records of client interactions and effectively communicate using pre-approved email templates.

• Complete monthly client performance reports, ensure accurate key metrics updates, analyze significant trends or spikes, and identify aged items.

• Participate in team projects and process improvement initiatives by contributing insights, documenting key discussions, and aligning actions with strategic objectives. Conduct analyses of work products to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities that optimize efficiency, ensure consistency, and support organizational goals.

• Contribute at least two process improvements annually, focusing on automation, streamlined communication, and enhanced efficiency.

• Mentor and assist in training junior analysts on investor reporting processes, tools, and best practices. Engage in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and grow professionally.

• Follow policies and procedures and checklists for cut-off activities to ensure reporting deadlines are met. Contribute to maintaining Policies and Procedures for assigned investors located in Confluence.

• Perform additional duties and initiatives as assigned by leadership to support business growth and operational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related field.

• At least 2–4 years of experience in Investor Reporting, Investor Accounting, Mortgage Servicing, Mortgage Banking, or a closely related financial operations environment.

• Strong understanding of financial analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and exception management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and other functions used for data analysis and reconciliation.

• Basic understanding of Investor Servicing Guides and Pooling & Servicing Agreements (PSAs) is highly preferred.

• Experience with ICE MSP, MSP Navigator, PMSI Q, or similar mortgage servicing/investor reporting systems is highly preferred.

• Experience working with investor websites and platforms to research reporting requirements and interpret relevant information is an advantage.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns, investigate discrepancies, determine root causes, and develop practical solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate findings and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly when handling financial data, reconciliations, and investor reporting requirements.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict reporting deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated experience participating in process improvement, automation, or efficiency initiatives is highly preferred.

• Willing to work on a permanent night shift schedule supporting US business hours.

• Willing to work onsite in Cebu City.
