Job Summary:
Support the organization's initiatives for business expansion throughout the investment lifecycle (sourcing to pre-execution).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct exploratory research and analysis on key real estate markets to determine the key market drivers and investment case assumptions.
- Assist in facilitating and monitoring the department's business expansion workstreams, which include but are not limited to: sourcing and evaluation of offers, due diligence, and investment case development.
- Coordinate/liaise with internal and external stakeholders related to the business expansion workstreams.
- Support the presentation of investment proposals, reports, and presentations for management and board updates and approvals.
- Perform other related work as necessary to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Architecture, Engineering, or Environmental planning.
- Work Experience: 2 - 3 years of real estate capital markets/ investments/business development experience. Experience in market research or land acquisition is an advantage.
- License/ Certification or Training: Ability to use mapping tools is an advantage (i.e., GIS, CAD)
