Job Description

Job Summary

The Investment Strategist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating the firm's investment outlook, strategic asset allocation views, and portfolio positioning guidance across local and global markets. The role serves as a key link between investment research, portfolio management, product development, and distribution teams, transforming macroeconomic and market insights into actionable investment strategies and recommendations.

Working closely with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisers, Portfolio Managers, and Product Specialists, the Investment Strategist supports client portfolio management, drives investment thought leadership, contributes to product development initiatives, and helps grow assets under management through high-quality advisory solutions tailored to clients objectives and risk profiles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the firm's investment outlook, strategic asset allocation recommendations, and portfolio positioning guidance across asset classes, sectors, markets, and investment themes.
  • Continuously evaluate, challenge, and refine house views, market assumptions, and investment recommendations in collaboration with research, portfolio management, and investment teams to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Partner with investment product and portfolio teams to identify product gaps, support due diligence activities, and provide macroeconomic, sectoral, thematic, valuation, and risk analysis to enhance the investment platform.
  • Produce and communicate timely, relevant, and actionable market insights, investment commentaries, outlook reports, presentations, and thought leadership content for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Drive continuous improvement of investment strategy processes, analytical frameworks, governance practices, reporting standards, and collaboration mechanisms, while performing other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • MBA, Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
  • CFA, CAIA, FRM, or other relevant investment certifications are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Treasury, Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Investment Research, or related fields.
  • Experience in fixed-income investments, asset management products, and portfolio strategy is preferred.
  • Proven experience in investment research, market analysis, asset allocation, and investment advisory activities.
