The Investment Services Officer is responsible for providing operational and administrative support for daytoday account onboarding, account servicing, and investment transaction processing. The role supports offshore clients across trading and loan activities, serves as a primary liaison with counterparties and custodians, and ensures the efficient and accurate presettlement handling of all investmentrelated transactions.
R Esponsibilities
- Manage preparation, review, and delivery of account onboarding and servicing documents.
- Review completeness and accuracy of onboarding requirements, AML screenings, and customer risk assessments.
- Conduct recorded call confirmations for Customer Risk Profiling and facilitate account opening, maintenance, and periodic reviews.
- Coordinate resubmission of W8 forms and ensure original documents are transmitted to the Serviced Entity.
- Liaise between BPI, the Serviced Entity, brokers, counterparties, and custodians for investmentrelated activities.
- Review client instructions and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee booking, balancing, and processing of trades, placements, fees, and related transactions.
- Monitor, reconcile, and troubleshoot settlement issues with Portfolio Relationship Management, Traders, and Operations.
- Consolidate primary issuance orders and check/approve documentary requirements, electronic approvals, and bookkeeping entries.
- Support corporate actions processing and custodianship account maintenance.
- Formulate and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and riskmitigating operational enhancements.
- Ensure business continuity practices, staff training, and skills development.
- Provide timely assistance to internal/external stakeholders and prepare reports to support monitoring and reconciliation.
- Serve as system administrator for internal databases and distribution lists, as applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 34 years of experience in investment operations or banking operations.
- Strong macro-level understanding of endtoend investment and transaction processes.
