Investment Operations Officer- AIS Private Markets NAV (Start-up SSC)

Job Summary:

• The Officer is a management-level role responsible for the overall operational delivery, people leadership, and client service excellence of a Private Markets NAV accounting team. The role combines deep technical expertise in alternative investments with strong leadership capabilities to oversee daily operations, develop talent, manage risk, and ensure the delivery of high-quality client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end execution of Private Markets NAV accounting activities across assigned client relationships.
• Review and approve key client deliverables, NAV packages, financial reporting schedules, and other fund accounting outputs.
• Directly manage and lead Associates and Senior Associates.
• Conduct performance evaluations, performance discussions, and talent assessments.
• Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and career development guidance to team members.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for client, audit, and operational matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of Alternative Investments, Private Markets, or Fund Accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing employee performance.
• Experience conducting performance evaluations and providing structured developmental feedback.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and operational escalations.
• Experience overseeing multiple deliverables, priorities, and stakeholder groups simultaneously.

• Private Equity fund structures
• Private Credit fund structures
• Real Estate fund structures
• Limited Partner (LP) and General Partner (GP) arrangements
• Capital calls and distributions
• Waterfall calculations and allocations
• Financial statement preparation
• Fund accounting controls and operational risk management

Systems Knowledge:

• Geneva
• Investran
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Workflow and fund accounting platforms
