JOB SUMMARY: This function is responsible for providing financial advice and services to ALGI, the Company, about a range of investment matters, including buying and selling investment trusts and shares or bonds, to help the Company maximize its earning potential and to provide improvements on investment related activities.
Investment Portfolio Maintenance and Reporting
- Continuous monitoring of dividends and trade settlement in conjunction with other colleagues.
- Complete documentation for all authorized trades including approvals
- Work to manage cash position for highest possible return
- Research and propose on possible other passive investment opportunities, including working with funds and alternative assets
- Preparation of related management reports and subsequent reporting
- Overall Responsibility for daily reporting on current and forward looking MTD, YTD investment positions with latest closed accounting data and up to date market information.
- Equity assessment reports to support buy or sell decisions
- Review work of investment assistant
- Fundamental analysis of target investment companies to determine where to put funds
