Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and highly analytical Investment Manager to join our investments team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities aligned with the company's growth priorities in the technology, gaming & entertainment, and digital ecosystem sectors.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Investments in developing comprehensive product research, including business model assessments, customer/user journey analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Lead the end-to-end investment process from sourcing and due diligence to valuation, negotiation, and portfolio monitoring.
- Develop and maintain financial models and investment theses for potential acquisitions, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities, particularly in the tech, gaming, and digital entertainment landscapes.
- Monitor and analyze local and international industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies that may impact investment strategy.
- Prepare investment papers, presentations, and recommendations for executive management and the Board of Directors.
- Collaborate closely with internal business units, legal, finance and other related teams to ensure alignment and effective deal execution.
- Monitor performance of portfolio companies and recommend strategic actions to maximize returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or venture capital.
- Strong background in technology, gaming, or digital entertainment investments preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with research tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, or Statista).
