Job Description
AB Capital & Investment Corporation's Investment Banking Division provides advisory and capital-raising services to a diverse range of clients. We are seeking a seasoned individual with meaningful experience in client coverage, transaction origination, and execution across M&A, debt, or equity capital markets to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Client Coverage & Origination: Act as primary coverage officer — owning senior client relationships and converting them into mandates.
- Transaction Leadership: Lead origination and execution across the full IB product suite: M&A, financial advisory, DCM (bonds, corporate notes, commercial papers, project finance), and ECM (IPOs, follow-on offerings, preferred shares, private placements, stock rights offerings).
- Client Materials & Pitching: Prepare and present pitches, information memoranda, fairness opinions, and term sheets.
- Due Diligence & Documentation: Lead due diligence and oversee transaction documentation, including engagement letters and confidentiality agreements.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with regulators, legal counsel, co-arrangers, and institutional investors to close transactions.
- Team Development: Mentor and provide technical guidance to analysts and associates across deal teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a client-facing financial services role; backgrounds in investment banking, equity research, or corporate banking are all strongly considered.
- Proven track record of originating and closing transactions across M&A, financial advisory, DCM, or ECM.
- Established network of C-suite, board-level, and institutional relationships across corporate Philippines.
- Deep familiarity with Philippine capital markets and SEC, PSE, and BSP regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to structure and price transactions across debt and equity products.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills a plus.
- Excellent communication skills; able to craft and deliver compelling pitches and information memoranda.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
