Job Description

ReportingtotheVice President of Investments and Development,theInvestmentAnalystwillbepartof the investments team to support the company's strategic growth by supporting the investment and business developmentefforts.Thecandidatewillbeexposedtoboth investment and businessdevelopmentactivitiesandgetto work ondeals from theorigination stage to contract conclusion.

Responsibilities:

Conduct feasibility studies for potential investment and hotel management deals,partakeinworkrelatingtobiddingor tendering process, including market research and underwriting of each potential project including critical market and competitive data, tracking and establishing pickup trends, occupancy history, and provide recommendations to management
Conductmarketresearchandgenerateinvestment and development leadsthroughcontactswithdevelopers, lending institutions, independent hotel operators, hotel brokers, hotel consultantsand governmenttourismbodies,tracknewprojects pipeline,maintainbothdealandcontact databases
Develop financial models, presentations, proposals and pitch materials in connection to each investment or business developmentopportunityandworkwith various internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, including hotel operations and technical services team
Work with investment team to develop and implement business development strategies to grow the business and secure new hotel management contracts

Requirements:Qualifications:

PossessatleastaBachelor'sDegreeineitherHospitality,BusinessFinanceorRealEstate from a recognised institution
Internshipand relevant experience in thehospitalityor real estate industrypreferred

Experience:

Minimum 1-2yearsofworkingexperienceineitherananalystorconsultancyroleina real estate or hospitality industry

PersonalQualities&Attributes:

WellversedinMicrosoftExcel,PowerPointandWord,includingfinancialmodelling,graphs charting and presentation
Beanindependentlearner,teamplayerandenjoyworkingwithinadynamicgroupandfast- paced environment
Be meticulous and has the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way
Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationandpresentationskillswithstronglogical thinkingcapability,includingtheabilitytocommunicateefficientlytovariousstakeholders
Proficientresearchexperiencewithabilitytoindependentlycollectandevaluateeconomic and local market data
