Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Makati for an Investment Advisor / Fund Manager. The key responsibilities include devising and implementing investment strategies, managing investment portfolios on a directed and discretionary basis, and creating research reports for internal and external stakeholders The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, offering tailored investment advice, and continuously monitoring market trends to achieve financial goals. Collaboration with the team to identify and optimize investment opportunities is also an integral part of the role.
Responsibilities:
Research and analyze information on the financial markets, local and global economics, and investment outlets such as stocks, bonds, currencies, UITFs, mutual funds, and global ETFs among others
Develop investment ideas with the Investment Advisors, Trading Division, Trust Officer, etc.
Prepare presentations and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
Conduct client meetings with bank partners
Manage discretionary and directional portfolios of high-net-worth clients and institutions
Ensure completion of documentation for client transactions and execution in relevant systems
Support ad hoc projects & initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
Preferably currently taking or has completed any of the following: the Trust Certification course, CFA Charter, MBA degree, FRM, CIPM, or related certifications
More than 3 years experience in a finance position or investment management is required, preferably in a research or fund management role
Working knowledge of various investment markets and products (i.e. money market, equities, bonds, deposits, foreign exchange, derivatives)
Self-starter that can collaborate well with colleagues
Analytical mindset that can process complex information and express key ideas in a clear and concise manner
