We are hiring a junior, project-based staff member to support data migration, system setup, store onboarding, and user support across multiple branches. This role is hands-on and operational, working closely with Operations, Finance, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
The Inventory System Migration Assistant will support the project team in the following:
System Setup & Data Migration
- Assist in encoding and migrating master data (items, recipes/BOM, suppliers, units of measure, pricing) into the new inventory system
- Validate migrated data versus source files (Excel, POS exports, existing inventory system)
- Assist in initial inventory counts and opening balances per store and commissary
- Help prepare store-level inventory templates and upload files
Store & Commissary Onboarding Support
- Support rollout of the new system per branch and commissary
- Assist in configuring locations, stock rooms, par levels, and user access
- Coordinate with store teams during cutover and go-live
- Help troubleshoot basic system and data issues during transition
Training & Documentation
- Assist in preparing simple user guides, quick reference sheets, and checklists
- Support basic training sessions for store and commissary users
- Help document process changes (receiving, transfers, adjustments, counts, wastage)
Project Coordination & Reporting
- Track rollout status per store (setup completed, data validated, go-live date)
- Maintain issue logs and follow up with system vendor or internal team
- Provide regular progress updates to the Project Lead
Qualifications
- Graduate of Business, Accounting or related field
- 02 years work experience (fresh graduates welcome)
- Comfortable working with Excel / Google Sheets (basic formulas, filters, sorting)
- Detail-oriented and organized; able to validate data and follow checklists
- Willing to do field work (stores and commissary visits)
- Able to coordinate with store staff and follow instructions from project leads
- Basic understanding of inventory, restaurant operations, or POS systems is a plus (but not required)
